Welcome!

Our mission is to advance community-led justice by developing leaders, strengthening family connections, building collective power, and advocating for equitable resources. We create pathways to healing and liberation by uplifting the leadership of women, youth, families, and community members most impacted by systemic inequities. We center those most impacted by incarceration and systemic inequity, building collective power to build healthier communities. Through grassroots organizing and community building, we work toward a future where every person can thrive.

We are committed to advancing racial and social justice while countering anti-Blackness and affirming the humanity of all.

community queen

Lovingly known as the “Community Queen”—a name that speaks to unwavering dedication to community advocacy, bringing people together, and many years of credible service. My commitment to the liberation and healing of Black people is unwavering.  Whether I am organizing, mentoring, or simply showing up with love, I strive to embody the spirit of collective work, collective joy, and collective power.

A proud mother and grandmother; I have a deep commitment to my family, to my community, and to the generations yet to come. The commitment to my own children extends to the commitment to the freedom and well-being of all our children. Through my leadership, I continue to remind us that healing and liberation are possible when we move together, with courage and compassion.

Raised and rooted in Seattle’s historic Black Community, Central District, I carry forward the legacy of a community that has long been a beacon of Black excellence in advocacy. My journey has been shaped by both personal triumph and professional excellence. With a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington Evans School of Public Policy & Governance, I have worked tirelessly to expand access to quality early learning and education, healthcare, food, advance racial justice, prison reform, and leadership development. Each effort reflects my belief that liberation is not just an idea, but a lived practice rooted in healing, humanity, and justice.
